INDEPENDENT
TECHNICAL/COMMERCIAL REVIEWS
We will conduct a
complete technical review of the proposed facility and help clients identify the
contractual, permitting and other non-technical facets of a proposed project
that represent risks to the project. We assess the impact of these risks and
recommend ways to minimize or mitigate them.
Typically, we review documents on
project organization and participants, design criteria, contracts, regulatory
permits, cost estimates, pro forma financials and the project schedule. We also
help identify and obtain necessary regulatory permits.
Comprehensive pre-financing reviews
include identification of:
· Inconsistencies
in documentation
· Permit
or contract restrictions
· Technology
risks
· Range
of values for pro forma sensitivity analysis of cash flow and debt coverage
ratios
We also:
· Identify
and evaluate protection against deficiencies in performance, equipment outages,
schedule, and potential interruption in fuel supply, or utility interconnection.
· Determine
whether predicted performance and permit conditions are reasonable.
· Confirm
that the proposed design conforms to good engineering practice.
· Verify
that inputs to the pro forma are reasonable and, where applicable, consistent
with other project documents and with equipment supplier guarantees.
